I was fortunately enough to have MBL (Bonnie and Emma) come to do my hair and makeup in Italy this year! I am not a makeup girlie (I wish) and had no idea what I wanted for my hair- the girls were so incredibly kind and supportive and helped me choose something that felt like me (which was what I wanted) but also the BEST VERSION OF ME! I was so thankful for their kindness and advice and my husband said he's never seen me happier- what a win! Bonnie had the impossible task of me asking for "natural" makeup with no lipstick but also makeup to make me not look jet lagged, not everyday makeup and the best version of me oh and to make it last in the Italian summer than randomly had rain for an hour?? She absolutely nailed the brief started really subtle and gave suggestions to build. Lined my lips with an almost perfect match and I put the Aussie fan favourite papaw ointment on top. I almost cried looking at myself.. still so very me, but honestly one of the only times in my 30 years I have truely felt beautiful- and that's before my dress was on!! My gorgeous girls, mum and MIL all looked incredible and even the mums who are struggling to adjust to aging skin- and how to do complimentary makeup with that absolutely loved their makeup & kept saying how happy they were! It made that a very special gift I was able to give them.From the start to the end, Bonnie has been so incredible to work with! We had enquired with a few people and ended up booking Bonnie purely for how pumped she was for our wedding- that's the energy you need on your day, someone who is just as excited about your wedding as you are! Couldn't recommend Bonnie and the whole MBL team anymore! Thanks for making my day so special

Emma was our hair stylist and absolutely crushed it! She was kind enough to add my fairy godmother in as she had some spare time and everyone who had their hair done was obsessed with it! I wasn't sure what I wanted and Emma gave me options and direction- which was incredibly helpful. I have naturally wild wavy red hair, so wanted to keep it a little wild, and a little tamed. Emma suggested we go more tame to start with, and add flare in smaller steps. She was so kind and open when I asked for things to be looser or pulled back more in certain places- not taking it personal that I wanted both formal and informal, "done" but also a little "un-done" looking and that I asked her 18362618 questions before we even started! I am so thankful for her patience with someone who didn't know what they wanted- and then the openness and kindness when I wanted it a little looser, to look more like my wild self. My husband said my hair looked insane- neat and gorgeous, with a little bit of crazy at the back- according to him, matched my personality! Thanks Emma!

I couldn't recommend Bonnie more! She did my makeup (bride) along with my two sisters, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law's makeup for my wedding in Italy just last week, and it was absolutely amazing. Bonnie really listens to your vision and effortlessly brings it to life. The products she uses are top-notch, and her warm and joyful presence made the morning of my wedding so much more special. 100/100 service! I had the absolute pleasure of working with Bonnie not only once, but twice for our legal ceremony and elopement in Paris. I knew Bonnie was special from our first interaction, and could feel her warmth and energy through our interactions on email – I knew she would be the perfect person to help me feel my best on our big days.

On the day of our legal ceremony, I was feeling very overwhelmed and nervous. Bonnie was so reassuring and made me look and feel so beautiful, whilst feeling like myself. She also nailed my mum and sister’s look. We spent the morning laughing and talking, and it felt as though she was a part of our family. She completely put us all at ease and had such a beautiful way of making us all feel so special whilst we were seated in the chair with her. My hair and makeup was perfect and didn't budge once over a 14 hour day!

After that day, we couldn’t wait to meet with Bonnie in Paris. The look for the day was so perfect, so right for Paris, and felt like me. I trust her opinion and ideas completely because her work truly speaks for itself. Again, everything was flawless and lasted close to 10 hours in hot and humid weather with no touch ups! Bonnie is a complete and utter professional and one of the best in the business. I feel so privileged to have met her on my special day, and I hope to have an occasion where I can meet and work with her again.
